Please let me know when they expect to have car ready so I can give you a true opinion. Also, do you know who the sales person is? That would help me as well since I know them well.

I noticed that there is also a 2009 911 CPO with 15K miles on it for the same amount that Jim Ellis is asking for their 2009 911. Hennessy POrsche is also in Atlanta area and are also a reputable dealership. You may want to look into that car as well.

Jeffrec,

I spoke with Ben. I haven't heard anything about when the car would be ready. I'll take a look at the CPO at Hennessy. Thanks.

The hennessy car appears to be missing SC which for me would be a must on a PDK.

dreamof911, I'll stop by Jim Ellis this week and check out the car for you. I'll let you know what I think about the condition of it after I see it. Let me know if you want me to do the same on the Hennessy car as well.

Jeffrec,

Thanks. I noticed the car has PDK without SC. I can e-mail you some of the pics, not sure if I'm allowed to post them here in public view since I don't own the car.

dreamof911...I stopped by Jim Ellis Porsche this afternoon since it was a bright sunny day in Atlanta, and the car you are interested in was sitting in the pre-owned lot. The car has no visible door dings or any imperfections in the sheet metal, however, the hood is peppered with stone chips down to the primer. It almost looks like it went up and down a gravel road many times over. The rubber is good and the tires appear to be new. I could not get inside the car but it appeared to be in good shape from what I could see through the glass. If I were you, provided you are still interested, I would have them take some close up pictures of the hood and roof and email them to you so you can see the stone chips for yourself and decide if this is something you could live with. Please let me know if you want me to test drive it this week as well.

Jeffrec,

Awesome thanks. It was a nice day. At the price their asking for the car, it would not be acceptable. I'll keep looking. Thanks for checking out the car for me. I really appreciate it and will remember it.

Good call, I would not recommend the car either. I am sure that you can find another one that meets your price point and condition. Check out Isringhausen Porsche and Hendrick Porsche in Charlotte. I found that they also have quality pre-owned CPO cars. Good luck!!!

Thanks Jeffrec, I'm sure the perfect car for me will present itself. I will resume after Christmas. Oh and by the way, if I don't speak to you before then, Happy Holidays!

Stubenhocker,

Nice, that's basically a new car. So it's worth it. Enjoy!
