New 997.2 Owner, First Porsche!
Hi all, I just picked up my first Porsche: a 2009 Carrera S Cabriolet (997.2) Meteor Gray on Black and wanted to share some pictures. I picked it up for a great deal and it only had 7600 miles!
The best part is that I took a one way ticket up to Northern California to pick the car up from a dealer and drove back to the Los Angeles area down Pacific Coast Highway and the 101. I'm sure many of you have driven this route. Needless to say it is gorgeous.
I also had a quick question. Would you recommend getting the doorplugs from www.bumperplugs.com? I did a search and heard that water could get into the keyhole, is this true? Have people had water problems with their doorplugs in the rain?

That's a beautiful car - congrats and welcome!
Your pics are not complete unless you post an interior shot or 2.
Looks like you have Sports Chrono...is it a MT or PDK?
Other options?
Messed with the exhaust, yet?

Welcome aboard! What a good deal--not even broken in.
I have logged so many miles on Routes 1 and 101. I prefer the roads north of San Francisco.
I wouldn't bother with any plugs for the door lock. I have never heard of anyone with that problem.

I think you've convinced me. Now if I could just hurry up the truck bringing my car from its port of arrival...

Very nice. Love the color. Nice outdoor furniture.
Rotes you should buy a membership.

They are just a uniform colored button with a male end to push into the key lock to hold in place.
