I drove my car through snow and salt all winter long for 6 winters. No rust. Of course not. Porsche uses all galvanized steel and in fact they were the first auto manufacturer to deploy this technique back in 1976. They were pioneers.

Nice looking car. I see sport exhaust, and full leather. what other options does it have?
Get a PPI done by a Porsche mechanic and you will be fine. How many owners did it have?

I bought mine from a dealer in NJ and had the same worried but as others have pointed out, you have little to fear given most owners just dont drive these cars in bad weather and have the income for a more suitable car for bad weather.
I did however check the fenders around the wheel well areas as thats the number one spot on any car. The other areas are to check under the engine, header, exhaust and hoses to make sure there is no corrosion or dry rotting.

Porsche has been using zinc galvanized bodies since 1975. Those cars came with a ten year warranty against body perforation by rust. The first thing to go on these cars that are used in the winter with salts for road maintenance in winter are the fasteners particularly near the engine area. Get the car up on a lift and look at the exhaust components. Those suffer the fastest due to heat. Aside from that the only other areas you have to watch are from earlier repairs that were done poorly.

Great remarks by everyone....and thank you!
The CarMax sticker is like sticky vinyl lettering easily removable, not like a glue decal we would wet as kids and place on our little model cars we glue together and paint with the little 1/2oz bottle!
CarMax supplies a full car history report. I am purchasing a 6-year, up to 125,000 mile total extended warranty.
No prior owner history, but the car history mentioned the 2 cities it was registered.
