Introduction
Hi there,
I have never introduced myself properly - and given todays freakishly good weather, I thought I would right that by posting a few pics.
I bought this beauty in July this year - my first Porsche. It was a dream and now its reality. What a wonderful car.
Its a 2006 with a bunch of options, but most important for me was the natural leather (what a smell) and the colour - Atlas Grey. Since my purchase however I have never really driven without the PSE so that would also have to be mentioned (oh yes the PASM too).
I picked it up with 94k km from the only Porsche dealership in my country, and negotiated 2 yrs dealer warranty to let me sleep well.
I have done lots of driving (only on weekends), from Long Distance trips, where this car is awesome, to getting my kicks on the local back roads.
It drinks oil, but like other on this forum I have learnt to not worry about that anymore (the dealer did a boroscope check and cylinder walls are fine) as I am within the limits prescribed by Porsche.
Anyway, I hope you enjoy the pics - next ones will be in the snow with my winter tyres that come next week.

You're fortunate to have so many well-maintained roads in that part of the world. The advantage of an engine that uses oil (like my 06) is that we are most familiar with how to add oil and to check our oil!!

Thanks for the compliments everyone! The day I took the car for a test drive the dealer kept on telling me how great the colour was - I was more focussed on the soundtrack. Now that I am able to pay attention to the finer details, I fall in love with this colour and more each time I see it.
I will do a session of interior pics, but do not have any on hand at the moment - what I wish I could post is how the car smells. 6 yrs old and still smells like leather. Sometimes I feel like leaving some clothes in the car so that it could absorb the smell and I would have it with me the whole day.
Yes the roads in Luxembourg are really something special. Each time I drive i discover a new back road so the fun is endless. stick it in third gear and enjoy the ride.
Renzport - oil consumption is 700ml for each 1000km. it worried me a lot in the beginning, but now i dont care anymore as car is under guarantee and the dealer has checked all the usual things that could lead to excessive oil usage. So while I dont really understand why consumption is high, I have made peace with that as it is still quite a bit lower than what the manual allows for. Strange, a bit like a 2-stroke motorbike...Anyway, as Edgy says, at least we get good at checking the oil.

very nice! enjoy it!
hey, since i'm a wheel/fender gap snob and absolutely hate the US laws re: headlight level, or pedestrian hitting level or whatever the heck forces our cars to ride at SUV height, that's usu the first thing i notice in pics. granted there isnt really a side-on shot above, but it looks like the fender gap is the same as US, no? i thought it would be ROW height being that it's in lux.

Thanks guys, its always nice to hear other people appreciate the same kind of stuff as oneself.
Spiffyjiff, unfortunately i don't know the answer to that one - the car is completely stock, but not sure how that compares to ride height in the US. I think maybe the pictures make the gap seem larger due to the farm road being higher in the middle than sides - not sure of that makes sense.
Anyway, i include 2 other pics which may help.
