Finally... some pics of my 997
I've had my car for about 6 months now and have been lurking this site for a bit longer. Anyway here are some pics and details:
Getting detailed..

Congrats on the purchase, love the look of the black all detailed up !! I would go with some H&R OE Sport Springs they will offer a mild lowering to cleanup that "too high-rally-stock look." While maintaining stock ride comfort is retained.
Front lowering: 1.2 in
Rear lowering: 1.2 in

Very nice! As with above - gap delete would really improve the look. By the way, who makes the wing?
Mine goes in for a full detail next week including micro-swirls/paint correction, wheel wells, engine, etc. A real treat.

I'm still debating over just lowering springs or COs.
The wing is a TechArt Type III. The body shop did an average job on the wing and front bumper so I am probably going to get everything resprayed this spring when I get the rest of the kit.

I debated the same thing with springs versus coil overs. I bought a set of H&R springs and then decided against them and sold the set for H&R coil overs. I like being able to set my own ride height plus the dampers are matched to the springs. Much improved handling, ride and look.

24.5" rear and 23.25" front - both measured from the bottom of the wheel lip.
This picture is when the coil overs were first installed at Porsche. They actually set the ride height even though initially I wanted it slightly lower. I'm glad it's at this height because any lower and I'd be hitting quite a bit. Apparently the ride height in square isn't recommended and keeping the slope (?).
The pictures were taken at a level position and looking at it standing looks lower.
I hope this helps.
