in the future just tow the car. it's far cheaper than a new engine. Inconvenient, yes... but worth it. Once the temps start rising you have no way to cool it down. You can do long term damage.

I did. I was less then a mile to the house plus I had just left the house being at home for lunch. So the car had not even warmed up yet.

Yes I know I should have had it towed but I was shocked that the blet seperated to begain with. I guess I thought the dealership would have checked this stuff. So I was a little bit pissed of. My head was not thinking clearly. I know I should have just stopped and called them and will do that in the future. I'm usually pretty good about stuff like that.
