Hey folks..

About 6 years ago I put a mod on my car that would:
a) prevent the trunk hood from accidentally opening from the slightest touch of the remote key.
b) Roll the passenger sideview mirror down so on REVERSE so you could see the curb better.

Thing is, I can't for the life of me find the one page instructions on how to turn the mod on and off.
And I also can't remember the name of the mod.

I do remember that you use the stalk and the turn arrows to set things on and off. (It was painfully annoying to set, but worked none-the less.)

Does anyone remember the name of the mod or know where I can find those instructions? I'm lost.

The mirror moving down on reverse is called "Swivelling down mirror glass as a parking aid" and is on page 53 of my manual. Not sure I've seen the one on the trunk release.

Turn and set the side mirror adjustment **** to the left mirror. This turns off the 'right mirror dropping in reverse' function.

The mirror function only works if you have the power seat optoion.

Correct...plus he asked about a mod he made 6 years ago. I'm guessing it was the RemoteKey module.

Thanks.. Don't have the power seat option. That's one of the reasons I installed the mod but the main reason was, I couldn't get the hood to stop opening.
