I'm afraid (not really) that you're right.. all of my other beauties stopped being produced, and in turn the community and events (which I loved being a part of) dwindled to near nothing. I don't expect pcars to go away anytime soon, so I think I'm safe.
You're not far off on the TT comment; this is the first naturally aspirated vehicle I've had in a decade, and I'm looking forward hopping up to a TT (gotta put my time in on the S first.) :P
Thanks for the heads up XR4Tim - isn't that the fuse box battery jump trick? I thought that (and the cig lighter jump) required the battery to be connected, otherwise it'd be an open circuit?
It should work even with the battery disconnected, since there are other grounds in the circuit, and the fuse box jumper goes directly to the hood release relay, bypassing the battery.
