Murano Green 911
Ok, guys, I picked up the 2008 C2S paint-to-sample 911 in Murano Green Friday. The color is very interesting as it looks darker and more green in shade and the sun brings out a bit of blue. Here are some early pix. More to follow.
Thanks to everyone who helped get me off the fence!

Here is a link to the Porsche color codes from 1989-90. The last years I believe that Murano Green was available. If you look below the color sample, you will see this car's sister 911, built paint-to-sample in the same color in 2008 by Euroclassics in Richmond.

That's a very interesting color. I like it too.
It looks very blue in these photos. I saw the photos in your fence thread just now. Those look very green.
Porsche is the master of chameleon paint jobs. Many of their colors over the years are known to change color shades quite drastically. My Riviera changes a lot. This Murano green looks to be another one.

Glad to see that Murano Coupe go to a good home. I believe it is the one that was posted on the Rennlist (not for sale) some time ago. Murano is a great solid color, mostly seen on 928s. Post some more detailed shots when you have the time. I like the rear script being painted to match (as I did for mine).

I love it. It's very bold but not obnoxious. I turn my head every time I see a P-car but this one will make me stare a bit longer than usual. Congratulations, enjoy your ride...I'm glad you went for it.

Drifting
Hot!!
You're never going to be sorry to have a color that nobody else has. it enhances the already wonderful 911 experience 10 fold. PTS is IMO the only way to go.
A big Congrats for doing something different!
Best,
Tom

The car really looks too blue in these photos that were taken with a phone camera by the Porsche sales associate. My wife is a very good photographer. I hope to persuade her to take some shots that better capture the true color and post those soon.
