Default Dension Problems

My Gateway 500 is no longer playing my ipod althought the bluetooth is still functioning. I tried filipping the on/off switch on the small box with the blue light on it but to no avail.

Any suggestions?

Thanks

Try disconneting the power to it. I found my Denision unit need a fresh reboot once or twice a year.

Either at the Dension's power connector or fuse.

'Typically' (at least my install) it derives it's 12 volt power from the CD Changer harness located in the 'frunk' (passenger side). Have a look at the 'fuse legend' attached to the back of the fuse panel cover in the cabin. I think it's 'D9' (18 amp) in a 997.1. That fuse protects the CD-Changer, PCM, Telephone, DVD Player. It just might be easier to 'pull out' the power plug to the Dension and wait a few seconds and plug it back in.

Thanks but I figured it out or at least what i tried worked. I didnt notice it before as the on/off switch is stuck under the dash but on the bottom there is a small hole marked "reset". So stuck a small piece of metal in to push it. It blinked for a while, i plugged in the ipod and it worked!!

Thanks for the suggestions
