Makes me kick myself for not getting the leather interior on my 997.2. I ordered the manual leather sport seats, but that is about it on the inside. While I know it is extremely expensive to do this after the fact, what are peoples thoughts on doing this piecemeal? What is the best bang for the $$$?

eh, i'll take real leather over imitation suede any day.
The problem with piece meal or really any aftermarket approach is that the parts that make the biggest difference (dash and door panels) are ridiculously expensive.
You can add little pieces here and there and it might add some value to you (not $$$ wise), but the impact is not huge and its still expensive.
If you really want it, I'd recommend selling your car and finding a full leather one.

Leather smells good, feels good, looks good, but i think the ordinary vinyl on the dash and door will last longer, plus it is weighs less than the leather version. Bit and pieces would be good accent but like others say..expensive
