Trying to install receiver on the front. Roughly 2.5" wide 3.5" deep. Needs to go upfront. Any ideas? Anyone stick on in the radiator openings?

My 997.1 had a K40 system. The front receiver was mounted to the underside of the top of the center opening of the bumper cover, in the middle.

I don't have the third radiator but I hope this helps.

I mounted mine under the front bumper( inside mounted to the top of the real metal bumper) when I had it off to put mesh in the openings to keep debris out. Of course the laser detector doesn’t function but the radar detector remains very sensitive, even from behind. It has keep me out of trouble several times. Sorry I didn’t take any photos when I had the bumper off.

Issue is that it is about 3" deep so it won't fit in the center cutout without sticking out

Actually, this thing is a laser defuser on my bumper. I think the radar stuff is tucked inside the bumper.
