buying a couple of coils for spark plug change in case any are bad.

Pelican lists the Beru for about $40 and the OEM Porsche for about $75 . . . Is there any difference or need to go with OEM?

I havent priced them at the stealership (but I have a coupon)or Suncoast yet.

I used the Beru's from Pelican last year to swap out my coils, p/n 997-602-104-00, for my 997.1S. My original old "Porsche" Beru coils are p/n 997-602-102-00 and have the Porsche designator logo(funny looking P). I suspect that "102" is the p/n for the Porsche logo'd(+$25 per coil) designator vs. "104" which indicates Beru OEM coil for the 997.1S or that there was a p/n revision in recent years. Have used the Beru's from Pelican over a year now w/o issue. Other than the p/n delta the parts looked exactly the same. BTW, if you order the coils from Suncoast... they also list the "104" part as does Pelican so it looks to be all the same except for the extra P-dealer donation.

They are the same part just the 104 is a current rev level of the OEM part.
