997.2 Rollout question
So I've noticed that Porsche likes to do their new model roll outs with an odd, staggered method. Sometimes they introduce the base models in the new bodystyle while still manufacturing some other version with the old bodystyle, all the while selling them concurrently--it can be confusing for the newbie.
My question relates to the 997.2. Are all '09 models (C2, C4, S and 4S) the updated bodystyle and the DI engine? Is it safe for me to assume that no matter what verson '09 I wind up with, it'll be the new and improved 997?
Specifically:
All '09s have the DI engine, all '09 autos are PDK, not Tiptronic and all '09s have the upgraded PCM.
Thanks in advance.
I actually broke away from work for a few minutes on Friday and was going to make a call on a silver Targa 4S out in California but it was gone by the time I got around to it. I guess I'll have to be a little quicker on the draw next time.
