Yes, bolts right on afaik. I think you need the GT3 heat shields and bracket supports, though. I got the heat shields with the used bumper I bought, and the shop figured out something to deal with the bracket supports.

Jack,
Your car looks amazing! We are practically neighbors. I live in Woodstock off Arnold Mill and 140.
The local Lotus group is doing a mountain drive tomorrow morning and I plan to be there. Just in case you wanted to join ;-).

i have been wanting to do this to my 997s for a while now, but was avoiding the aftermarket bumper option, nothing looked factory original, but your car looks perfect.
i have a few questions, you stated you used an original GT3 bumper, but the GT3 has slightly wider fender flares then the s model.
how was the bumper modified to fit the narrower body. did you maintain your stock mufflers and added custom piping to center location.
thank you in advanced
cheers

My car still looks essentially the same, although with 93k miles, it has some chips on the front and a few other blemishes. It's my main car - airport, groceries, etc. I only log on once in a great while and was surprised to see this thread on the front page!
