It's been about 11 years since I first joined Rennlist. At the time I had the pleasure of owning two different 993's and an '89 Silver Anniversary cab in about a 3 year span. It was fun while it lasted but was a hobby I had to give up with the arrival of my first son. Fast forward 10 years and three kids later, I wake up to realize I'm not getting any younger and it's time to get back into my favorite car since childhood.
About 3 weeks ago after a pretty extensive search I picked up an '09 Carrera with PDK. My two requirements were the aforementioned transmission with sport chrono and a color that wasn't black, silver, or gray. I think I did pretty well. The car has brought back a lot of memories - there have been a lot of advances since the 993 but the 911 DNA is still there. I felt right at home about 5 minutes into my first drive. I look forward to getting back into the local PCA events and being an active member of the boards again. Now for some pics....

Spokane - I tried posting around 6 pictures but I think they won't load due to file size. Thanks for the compliment and I'll try to re-size them.

Great car. I came very close to picking up a 2012 GTS cab in red. Loved the color, just a bit outside my snack bracket. I may regret it. Alas, I'll have to settle for a mere 2009 C4S well optioned cab in black with 6150 miles. . Have fun and welcome back.

Uh, I won't say how I know this but a more difficult and time consuming solution would be to EMAIL the photos to yourself and opt for the lower resolution file size (I'm thinking of how my iPhone works here). A less time consuming option might be to copy and crop your photos so they meet the allotted file size.

This car is stunning! Welcome back to the 911.
For shrinking photos, download Nikon viewNX, it's free and has a convert option in the file menu to downsize photos (keeps good quality). I find it very handy and quick.

They're actually the stock Porsche 18" wheels that came on the car. I believe they call them Carrera IV wheels.
