Default cheap upgrade

I never liked the bare aluminum calipers on my 05 c2. Decided to paint them myself with stencils found on e-bay. It wasn't easy but the results left me smiling.

They look sharp. Red was a great choice...now you know this will lead to more red accents.. What type pf paint / process did you use ? Will it hold up to the heat ?

Thanks for the good words!

The red was sold at autozone as caliper paint. The white was a high temp engine paint. I found the stencils easily on e-bay.

Nice job!

I did this on my '04 996. Suncoast Porsche sells PORSCHE decals if you don't want to mess with the stencils.

Were the stickers heat resistant? I assumed the were'nt for caliper use due to high heat.

Looks great. Now you've left yourself with two additional things to do...

1. Pretty up your lug bolts in some way.
2. Update your avitar

You should paint those rusty rotor hats! Much easier job than the calipers.
