Got the car back....WOW! I didn't realize the engine could turn over so fast. New Alternator, Cable, and Radiator Fan. $2,000 worth of repair under Warranty. 10 days left of warranty.

Great to hear your car is running again. What was wrong with the Alternator?

Thanks.....

They said there was a broken part on the harness that is common. I don't know if they did it trying to remove the alternator or if it was defective.

Now that you have 10 days left of warranty I would check every inch of that car and see what you can replace

In case any one was wondering...here was the total damage: $1.50

I took it to a good garage in the Orlando area (German Excellence, used to be Zotz). and they tested for voltage drop on the cable, checked the alternator, starter, etc. All excellent.

The battery, which was new to me, turned out to be toast. (And apparently old). Interstate decided to swap it out for free (not including a $1.50 environmental charge).

The end result....my car is back to normal and I am EXTREMELY relieved.
