Default 997.1 to 997.2 6MT

I'm messing with the idea of trading my 2008 C2S for a 2010 C2S and have a question about the transmission. Was there a revision to the 6 speed transmission between the .1 and .2 cars?

To my knowledge, no. Just the move from the Tiptronic to the PDK.

No difference I'm aware of either. Feel identical.

Besides what was mentioned about PDK I think hill assist was in the 2009 MT cars 997.2.

I considered doing the same thing with my old '08 but the timing was not optimal and the differences between the two cars did not justify the cash I'd have had to pay. That said, in answer to your question, I do not believe the MT changed and that would certainly explain why i could not feel a difference. (To be honest, in retrospect, the only reason I even considered the .2 at that time was because I wanted something new and not necessarily better. I'm glad I waited.)

Thanks for the Info! I've had some offers from a few dealers on my 08, so I've got an idea of what it's worth. The 2010 has some cool options I need(want) along with the DFI motor and another 30 horse. The dealer knows what I want for the 08, so we'll see if we can get the numbers to work. More to follow

How much are you wanting for your 08?
