Default Refinished Garage

I thought I would share my recently 'tuned' existing garage. I had new wall mounted openers installed that eliminate motors and chains hanging above your cars. Since the ceiling where going to be 'cleaner', I then had halogen recessed lighting put in. Also new butcher block counter top. As you can see it is not really a working environment, although I do get hands on occasionally. The 997 seems to like her new home.

All the best,

Tom

WOW! Your stunning garage just pulled me out of lurk-mode. I would have an ear to ear grin every time I'd walk into that beautiful space. Fantastic job! The 997 looks right at home.

Is that a Dino GT?

Consistently ranked as one of the most beautiful cars Ferrari has ever produced!

Also liked that classic pic of Enzo grinning from ear to ear.

Great looking garage, can I ask what finish you used on the floor?

Super nice man-den. I'd putting some BIGGER seating in there by the butcher block, a small fridge, flat screen etc... Question - nice wheels - what are those?

The floor looks to be just 12x12 VCT with the colors blocked in 24 inch squares. Nice result without extreme expense.

Beautiful garage! Quick question...

How do you keep the floor/walls so clean? No matter how frequently I sweep and clean, my garage floor and baseboards end up covered in leaf litter, cobwebs, ants, etc. Do you just never open the door? Does your door seal extremely efficiently?

I see all of these showroom-like garages and it blows me away. My garage looks like a garage. This looks as pristine as a formal living room. I just bought a new home and would appreciate any tips/tricks.

Again, gorgeous garage!

Beautiful man! Makes me long for the day I retire from Uncle Sam's service and can then own my own "fife-dom" such as yours and others.

Thank you for all the positive comments. To answer some questions: Yes, floor is created from VCT tiles from Lowes, dirt cheap. Yes, Dino 246GT. Wheels are HRE P40SC in Satin Silver. As far as keeping clean ... one advantage is that the cars in the garage are not daily drivers, so doors aren't opening multiple times each day. In addition, I'm a bit of a neat freak.

Beautiful motors in a very classy garage!

Love the PORSCHE on the column too.
