Default Need some advice on mounting POV V.I.O. in a 997.2

Hi;

I have the POV V.I.O. camera system, which I like - well made, great for snowboarding, waterproof, etc. However, the camera head remains tethered to the recording unit (not a single small piece like the GoPro), which makes mounting without a roll bar difficult - especially if I need to pass track inspection. I've tried mounting it to my helmet, which gives me great shots of my rear view mirror. I vaguely recall someone building some kind of camera mounting harness that used the rear seatbelt mounts, but can't find it anywhere.

Does anyone use this system and have any advice for mounting other than the helmet mounts ?

Thanks !
Brad

You can mount the RAM Suction Mount to the inside of the windshield or to the inside of the rear window.

I remember seeing a website that sold custom mounts designed for track days. Try google
