I love my car. When I pull in the garage I can't help but look at it before going indoors. I will often go into the garage just to look at the curves and just admire it. For sure before closing the door from the garage to the home I always look at it.

Rode for five hours on my Ducati today - Porsche stayed in the garage - passed a few 997s, a 996 and a Boxster all driven by old guys driving like old women!!!

Very blessed to have grown up in the USA... everyday I'm remained of how fortunate I am and off the Marines who evac'd us out of Saigon during the final days before the fall. I was almost 9 years old then. We had to leave everything behind (home, car, and loved ones). We made our way to Tan Son Nhut Airbase where we pushed our way through an ant hill of humanity. At midnight April 27th, 1975 US Marines pulled us onto a C-130... one of the final flights out before the base was rendered no longer operational for fixed winged planes the next day. Looking back it's hard to believe the life I live now, the car I drive, and the freedom afforded my family.

I enlisted at the age of 19 and served for several tours with my fellow Marines including one during Desert Storm. Next week my oldest Son goes off to Officer Candidate School - Quantico, VA. God Bless him... God bless America - Land of the Free and Home of the Brave.
