Default Remote control for Gundo or Fister exhaust possible?

Is it possible to do a Gundo hack of Fister mod that is remote-controllable (like the PSE)?

sure. There are 12v powered gates that you can use somehow to open/close the bypass. You can operate them remotely. will probably cost more than real PSE retrofit though.

Any idea who sells them? Thanks!

I might do fabspeed if there's no other option, but I'd prefer the stock exhaust sound when the valve is closed. Thanks!

Based on that ^ comment, then your only option is to get PSE. No after market mufflers will give you that sound.

You could talk to Darin at FD Motorsports about the Fister mufflers to see if he would do a custom set for you.

Also check out Carnwal - They produce a plug in remote system for the OEM PSE system.

http://www.carnewal.com/

See it in action here.

Also seems fairly cheap at 150 Euro's

I had thought of installing a manual 'T' bar handle valve to be able to reach under and open/close as needed. Not quite as clean of a process, but would probably serve the purpose you require.

I recently had the 'gundo' done to mine and even with a full 2" pipe, it is not overly loud. Initial start up is pretty loud, but then quiets after 30 seconds or so. Driving around, it is not really noticeable. Not sure my wife would have known a difference if she didn't know I was doing it...
