Not to mention the 1998 Corvette optional magnesium wheels. But still, calling your rims "mags" when they ain't is like callin' your rims "Dub's when your only rollin on 19"s.

Good thing I'm not the sensitive type ; )

So I got an answer from David @ wheelenhancement and they have something in stock at a good price that could really save the day... I'll keep you guys informed.

OK guys, I have the car back with the new Michelin Super Sport and OMG what a difference.

As for the wheel, the repair seems really great for now but I ordered the new wheel from David @ wheelenhancement and will change it anyway. Service from David was just perfect.

I will find a couple of minutes to post at least one picture of the repair...

My dealer did a great job, so I can't complain... Thank you again for all the advice, this forum and its users rock!

See you on the road...
