Default I've been bitten

by the p-car bug. two weeks into my first one and already thinking about #2. If your only car and DD was a 2007 9974S and you had say 35k to spend on a second one, what would it be?

I'm leaning towards a 928...I've always wanted one and seems like fun...

how about you?

You might be able to get a decent 993 for that kind of money. 928's are nice too, I know of a nice one in your price range. It needs a timing belt and water pump soon, all other mechanicals are up to date.

993... although 35K only gets you a basic version.

I traded my 997 for a 993. Very happy and no regrets.

can you still get a decent 930 for $35k? I know those have been going up in value.

otherwise base 993 or higher-spec 964. or 996 track car like I did

35 would also get you 7 decent 944's.

Look to the left. My 997 C2S was my gateway drug to my 993 C4S. I love them both but to be honest, I look forward to driving the 993 more.

A 993 would be nice. The suggestion of an 80s 911 and updating a bit is interesting as well. In that case I'd opt for a late 80s 3.2 with a G50 gear box.
