I find the social changes indicated by the background cool too.
Porsche has ''stayed the same' while the vehicles in the picture have transformed from Station Wagons and Sedans to Minivans and SUV's.

Splendid pictures, certainly keepers. On a different note whose 911 is the mother driving? You ought to thank him/her for making your girl's Mum 911 fan and with that, probably consequently your girl a generation later!

That might be an old photo but there's no need for old values. Perhaps it's her 911?

Great pic! Showed it to my daughters and they want photos of them sitting behind the wheel of the p-car now in case they get the chance to have their daughters in 40 years from now do the same in the 911 of the future!

This comparison reminds me of a couple of shots I took (sans gf) at Zuffenhausen. 1977 and 2006. The cars change, the factory little. On the left, my 1977 911S; on the right my 2006 911S. In the 1970s Porsche used COLOR on their cars!

Nothing written suggests old values in the aforementioned statement unless you chose to misconstrue it as such. It may be indeed her car. The question was whose it was. If it her's, she still probably made her daughter, the OP's girlfriend, a porsche fan/admirer
