On freeway, had no choice but to run over a significant "pile" of stones on the road. A few jumped up, some bounced off the hood which is completely covered with a bra but 2-3 sliced nice sized holes in the bra.
Anybody else experienced this and if so, any "reasonable" fix short of complete relacement of bra?

The only solution is replacement of the piece or leave it be. Granted if you leave it alone the areas which are now uncovered are no longer protected. The good news is that the bra did its job and saved your paint, if you didn't have it you would instead be talking to your insurance company about a respray.

Good to hear that your clearbra did its job to protecting your car.
I guess if the stones could rip the clearbra, the hit must be quite severe. Without the clearbra, it might very well be a visit to the bodyshop for an expensive bumper repair/repaint.
Agree with folks that the best would be to bring the car back to the clearbra installer, and pay them to replace the film. Try to convince the installer that this would be a very nice testimony to the film and its job, hope they would give you a nice price for the film replacement.
With best regards,
