Default To tint or not?

What do you guys think? Mine is black exterior/tan interior just like in picture. These pics are from the web...used as an example.

Thanks.

To me that looks like it's already been tinted.

it depends where you live. black cars look great, imo, with tint. here in TX it's a given - summer sun is insane.

Sorry if I wasn't clear...I pulled these pics from the web. I don't have tints and am considering to get one. Just not sure how it would look.

I'm not a fan of tint, but mines white and I live in Canada...
Black's a little more conducive I suppose, but still not for me.
Is yours black?

You'll find there are lots of opinions as to how dark a tint you should go. I put a very light 50% tint all around on my black 997 and really like it. Just enough to improve the look of the car whilst providing additional heat protection. I'll post a picture tonight for you.

If its a daily driver and parked outside in the sun all day then sure why not.
I'm not in this situation, so mine will stay stock.

Not sure if they apply the tint on the outside of the rear window and the rest inside ?

Well done tint is nice. If you run dark tint on the rear window it makes backing up at night a little tricky sometimes and can interfere with the light sensor for auto dimming mirrors. Also tinting the front side windows is illegal in many states.

That said I've been running illegal side window tint with no issues for a while now.

I'm a tint fan, it's a low-cost and functional "mod." Looks great with many colors. My personal preference is something that isn't too dark, otherwise night-time visibility can be poor.

Love or hate it, tint is one of the few mods that can be removed without damaging the car.
If you like the look, go ahead and tint. The next owner can always have it stripped.
Personally, I think dark tint is a great way to make your Porsche look like an Escalade.

I like tint, it gives you some privacy, and also I like the look. I think 35% is just right. Btw, I don't get the escalade reference.
