On my 09 Targa 4 I'm currently using 19' turbo oem wheels. I believe they are 19 x 8 et 57 and 19 x 11 et 51. The tire size's are 235/35 19 & 295/30. I'm thinking about go with a new wheel that are 19x8.5 + 56 and 19x11 + 51. Any problema with the from being 8.5 with a et of 56? Thanks

The front is a close one, but seems like it might work. I'm sure some of the offset experts will chime in. Whatcha' gonna do with those 19" turbos when you take them off? I might be interested in them.

5mm less inner clearance and outer position will extend 7mm more. Outer shouldn't be a problem and I wouldn't think 5mm would be a clearance problem but I know the tolerances are tight so you might want to mount and check first.

Optional wheel on 997.1 is 8.5 x19 et 55 with 235/35 mounted so I don't think you'll have any problems - from the onwer's manual:
