Default 997.2 without Nav

I am looking at a 2009 without Nav. Other than not having navigation, is the rest of the PCM the same?

Car still has Bluetooth and audio as options. Given how infrequently I use the nav in my M3, I won't miss it.

Yes. It has the button marked nav but it does nothing.

The nav on my 997.2 is pretty useless.... The Garmin unit is a million times better. You won't even think about it if you don't have it.

I have nav on my 997.1 and much prefer the Garmin from the same vintage. And with a Garmin, it is easier and cheaper to keep it current.

Sounds the same as my M3. Have used it a few times at best. But on the M3 you need it to get the premium stereo.

I love my nav with the multi function steering wheel on my 997.2. It's very easy to use and certainly more functional than a Garmin with a much larger screen.

Is this the one in Minnesota, Porsche Racing green? If so, I have seen it when it was in Tucson.

Had Nav in my 997.1 and got frustrated the few times I tried to use it. No Nav in my .2 and more than fine without it.

I agreed completely until I totaled my F-250 and the Garmin hit me in the forehead, millimeters from my right eye while things were flying around the cab. Now I order everything built in, even though it's inferior and costs more.

really? for PCM3 in the 997.2 car? In those cars it was a part of a main PCM unit and could not be retrofitted, did it change now? i did not know that.
