Replaced mine under CPO on the 996 a few years back. I guess the terms have changed on the CPO.

Well, I'm glad someone else had it. Did clutch, TOB replacement fix the problem?

I feel like I've been on crazy pills since July when it started. The first 3 trips to the dealer, they either couldn't replicate it or diagnose it even when I demonstrated it in the parking lot with manager in the car with me. Yes, the frustration with this issue is very high.

Also, some of the descriptions here of TOB wear don't necessarily fit what my car is doing. I don't leave it depressed at lights. It's largely highway miles. Engagement of the clutch is a little abrupt, but no slippage or extra 'texture' through the peddle. When I compare to my buddy's GTS, my clutch peddle is a lot heavier. Could this be d/t .1 vs .2 difference?
