Heard back from the dealer today, I am on my own! Not really surprised by the response.

I suppose that dealer outcome was expected. Well, I hope this saga will soon be behind you and you'll be focused solely on the joy of owning the P-car.

Beautiful car, enjoy it and let us know if we can be of any assistance in the future with your servicing and aftermarket needs, since we are in San Antonio.

Since it was out of warranty yes, totally expected that. But I was hoping a Porsche rep will at-least look at the car to determine why it happened..

Thanks, were you asking how much to fix/how much I bought it for?

Nice, good to have options..Just took a quick peek at your site and didn't see anything listed for 997.1 Carrera Link, is that a website issue? I am interested in finding out what kinda services and aftermarket parts you offer for a 997.1..
