When I bought my car, it came with Turbo Twists. I've had the ongoing thought of replacing/upgrading the rims, which leaves me wondering if there is much of a market for 18" Turbo Twists in average condition. I understand that these might be popular track trims, or that some people simply like the look in general. While I don't hate the Twists, I'd prefer something different. I scanned through eBay and saw a few sets varying widely in price; but my ultimate curiosity is how much interest there might be for these rims. Anyone have a feel for Twist resale in the aftermarket?

I haven't decided what rim/size I'd like to upgrade to, so for now this is a proactive question. I'm leaning toward 19s; the only shame is that my current 18s have new Pirelli's on them and it would be nice to keep the new tires...but that would obviously mean sticking with an 18" rim. I recognize that I could also try selling the tire/wheel combo, but I kinda like the Pirelli's.

996 and 997 cars...different offsets....you can sell these over on the 996 forum...plus 997 guys don't want 8x18 for fronts...9x18 work better on 997 cars.

I might be interested depending on the specs and cost. I'll need winter shoes in the fall.
