Thanks all on props.
The LEDs look terrific and it really updates the look. I also really like the 6K lights as it matches really nicely. I was surprised how easy the replacement was. The headlight unit is very modular and you release the entire housing from the trunk each side disconnects and slides right out. I didn't know this previously. I'm going to update all the lighting now with the interior, trunk and engine bay.

Maybe it's just me but I don't get why someone would want to "update" a classic. Wheels I get, exhaust and engine performance, I get....LED tail lights, painted knockoff wheels, not so much....
Just my .02...

It's called personalizing your car to your liking. It means different upgrades for different people. Don't you think it would be quite boring if everyone had the same taste?

You're right, "maybe it's just you". I like it and at the end of the day that's all that really matters, eh?
With regard to "painted knockoff wheels", well, what's not a "knockoff"? I would argue much of what's on the market is a replication of some other design, although there's plenty that's genuine in their own right. Regarding the LEDs, Porsche introduced them on the .2 and I think (and many others agree) that it's a nice upgrade.
I take no offense as it's a forum and some people like mods, others not so much. Ciao.

"Maybe it's just me" was an obvious tongue-in-cheek statement. You are certainly right about one thing, as long as you like it, that's all that matters....just stop before its too late....

KrysFly....
Personalizing is one thing, taste is something completely different. Trying to make your car appear to look newer by adding LED tail lights, new styled headlights, lettering, etc., reminds me of the old bald guy trying to squeeze into a tight fitting graphic tee while sporting a black rug on his head...

If you don't like it thats one thing, but just don't over extend yourself.
