Default Error / Fault Code

Plugged in a durametric to check my fans were kicking in properly after I found a stone jammed.

It's identified a fault code on my car (C2S) which I need to understand.

P1682 - Secondary air valve final stage

Any idea where I can look this up or what might be the trouble if any - No problem with the car that I am aware of.

Anyone has info on this? I can't even find the part on the PET.

Thanks.

Thanks, but I saw that and unfortunately my car is just a regular 2007 C4S without X51 package, no PSE.

I could definitely can hear a clicking sound by the alternator (much like a switch doing intermittent on/off cycles). Additionally, the noise goes away AS SOON as the RPM rises above idle. Lastly, the noise is intermittent, and comes on as soon as the car warms up.

So far, we think it is part #2 on the diagram below.

Would you mind letting me know where your error code description came from? My Durametric shows as:

P1682
Secondary-air valve final stage.

thx.
