What can I say, my first water cooled 911 and I love it already. Was cross shopping 996tt, just couldn't stand the interior. Got a ridiculously good deal on this 08 997.1 I couldn't pass it up, potential IMS problems in future or not. There already seems to be a huge gap in resale between the 997.1 and 997.2 I assumed my car was Arctic Silver, but the color code reads GT SILVER. I really like it, almost has a platinum undertone.
CONGRATS ! I love my 2007 C4S (white).....Bought it in 2009 used with 9K miles on it for $66K FULLY loaded from Porsche dealer in Colorado. Original sticker was $106K....
Beautiful car!...although I am biased...loved my 08 C4S, and you'll love yours too! Spend some time on the thread referenced above - lots of little things it might take years to discover on your own.
I was in Carlsbad with the family over spring break- cruised through La Jolla, Solana, Encinitas, Oceanside. Love your view!
