Default 997 2011 Windscreen..

Does anyone know if the factory windscreen was standard and included in the 2011 cab?
Thanks in advance!

Dug a bit deeper and found the answer......

It is an option.

Unless things changed the windscreen remained standard on all 997s (997.1 and 997.2) through the years. One option was to include the word "Porsche" in white lettering (to remind everyone what you're driving). If you have a cabriolet that didn't have a windscreen, the dealership forgot to give it to you. Sometimes I think they separated from the cars at the shop.

Pretty sure it was an option, at least on .1 cars. Came sttandard with my GTS Cab. I have one from my first Cab that I can sell you for cheap.

The windscreen was a no cost feature of my car. It was not an option.

I bought a 06 c2s cab cpo and I asked about where the windscreen was and he told me it was an option... I hate being lied to by dealers.. Was he lying or is it an option.. I realize that a cpo could be missing the windscreen.. But was it an option or not?

I re-read the book the dealer gave me about the 911.

It is a hard covered book talking about all the styles available of 911, options, colors etc...

In the back of the book it shows clearly that the wind screen is an option on the 2011 997 model year.

My 2011 Cab came with the standard windscreen. The option is the "Porche" lettered windscreen as Dan stated.
