Bought a 07' 997.1 from Mike. Their pre-owned inventory appeared first rate when I bought from Danbury. I think they get a good supply of trades that they initally delivered new.

Good to hear. Tx. Seems to be the reviews of this dealership are good vs. some others.

I got a Boxster from Danbury a few years back.
No issues.

Are you planning on having the car shipped to you?

Yep. I have a local shop I use to do the paperwork and importation. Any carrier you recommend?

Now THAT would be fun! I've checked the location - could be a nice run up the coast into Quebec and then head on west.

If you do this come down to Seattle and throw some fish around and meet some other friendly P-car people.

Joel,

thanks for the excuse to use this gorgeous day for yet another 911 test drive. Beautiful car. The interior is perfect. No marks on the bolsters. I WANT ventilated seats! Too cool. The scratch on the bumper about an inch long, just under the "lip"? - by the tow hook. It's a pretty good one, I'd probably give it a quick sand and some touchup. It's not in a very noticeable spot tho. Got a few rock marks, but really just a few. The blemish on the passenger door is maybe 1/2 inch, and superficial. Not sure if it's a slight door ding or what. Paint doesn't seem broken. I wouldn't let either stop me. It has clear "bra" in front of the rear wheel wells. Looks fine. No rattles and squeaks. I set PASM on sport and went down a semi ratty (normal for here) back road. Rock solid. Radio sounds good - tested for 30 sec :-). The DFI cars really are quite a bit quieter than the 997.1. I thought there was a slight steering shimmy. I asked Malachy to double check that. Tire pressure, maybe tire balance. Said he'll take care of it in the morning. I took some pics, but it seems that the (ex) cleaning lady has moved the &*(!@#& USB camera cable. Grrrrr. I'll post when I find it.

Stef - thanks so much for this. It's sound likes it has the "special" combination of colors I like and is in good running shape, despite what some would consider high miliage for a 2009. I'm not too concerned about that. Looking forward to the pics. Thanks again. Joel
