I just mentioned that I thought the PDK was acting different and seemed to have more of a gap between shifts. Also as I stated when put in reverse it seemed to slip a liitle before engaging. They agreed with me and then tried the reboot and the Control Module was not communicating with the factory computer so they had to replace. It was not part of a campaign since it took them and the factory days before they came to the Control Module conclusion after numerous other fix attempts. I was not bothered having at dealer for a week since I would rather have the correction made now than later.

Was the campaign or bulletin referenced on the dealer warranty invoice you received?

This is what was on the invoice.

Performed WM 373025 but after this was done the gateway and PDK control unit was wiped out due to incompatibility from the piwis.

After performing WM 373025, the gateway control unit stop responding to the tester. Performed PTEC and they suggested to perform pinchecks at diagnostic plug to gateway unit. The vehicle showed reduced engine power in the instrument clusterand retrieved multiple fault at most of the control units. Shop foreman spoke to the FTM and advised to replace PDK control unit due to incompatibility with Piwis tester II and new control woul be the fix. Reprogrammed and calibrated new PDK control unit, road test to verify fix!
