It works in the US...but you have to have the option 666 "telephone module for PCM". I bought a $20 SIM card at Best Buy and it works fine.

I forward my cell phone to the car SIM. Really helps to have the multifunction steering wheel.

Really? Interesting. I don't have the telephone module option. Happy with the bluetooth functionality anyway, still have plenty of PCM learning to do.
