Question Reasonable (i.e., CHEAP) track wheels/tires recommendations?

I did well with winter tires/wheels last year, but with our warm winter, didn't really need them this year. I'm hoping that there might be fair-priced wheels/tires for the track too. Any recommendations?

thanks--

It is a very broad topic. Simples answer is to get oz allegerita rims, 18' in 8.5" wide front and may be 11.5 wide rears in your car offsets.

Complex part is that you do not choose tires for rims you bought - you choose tires you want in sizes you can fit and then you get wheels for that.
Search here and on gt3 forums - narrow body gt3 rims is what you want for c2s car and wide body c4s is what goes on gt3 rs.

I used Sumi HTRZ3 on my 996 for DD and track. I am in green and they did tend to overheat toward the end of a session but were ok overall and cheap.

I have the OZ wheels Utkinpol mentions. They are very light, look good and I haven't had any issues with them at the track. I also noticed a set of CCW wheels for sale on this forum for about $1900. Great wheels.

Get lobsters....you can find them for $500 now. There are also plenty of used tire sets from take offs. I recently bought a newer set of Michelin PS2 rears for $450.

I bought these for my track wheels, too. Excellent wheels, very light, and reasonably priced. Though you could find other wheels for roughly half the price if you don't mind them being heavy.

Hankook RS-3 are excellent (and cheap) track tires, if available in your sizes.
