Took Porsche in for two year service and to have the PDK checked since I seemed to have a lull between gears. They gave me a Panamera loaner and it is a great vehicle. As I do on my Carrera S I was driving in Sport mode but after lunch today at a light I thought the engine quit and well it did. It has the shut off mode like the new 991 and when you give it gas it restarts. Very strange feeling and it would take getting used to. Of course in Sport mode it doesn't shut down when at a light. The dealer just called and said the Car / Trans is not allowing them to do the update to the trans. Not communicating?

This sounds interesting, they just might be replacing the whole transition. A Panamera as a loaner is nice. What dealership is that?

Walters Porsche Riverside Calif! The service is half the cost of Newport Beach Porsche! I don't believe they have replaced very many PDK transmissions. Makes no difference to me as long as it works!

update us, also how much was the 2 yr service. I need to bring my car to walters this next week.

The 2 year service is a simple oil change and brake fluid flush. The rest is warranty work.

Newport $1200, Walters $600 plus they have a 10% discount on there website. Speak with Justin. Email me as to the loaner! Yeah as of last night they still can't figure out my trans issue and as of this morning no update!
