I assume you mean the welcome home lighting feature that keeps your lights on for a while after you get out of the car. The standard time is about 30 seconds. If you have Sport Chrono Package Plus you can go into PCM under Info and Options and select Individual Memory, Light, and Fade out time and adjust the time from 10-120 seconds.

Except as Mike just posted above. Also, from the manual:

Welcome Home Lighting
Switching on
f Move light switch to the HOME position.
For improved visibility and security when you get
in and out of the car, the fog lights and the tail
lights remain on for a certain period of time:
– When you get out of the car, the lights are
turned on for approx. 30 seconds after the
door is opened. The off-delay time resumes
when the vehicle is locked.
On vehicles with the Sport Chrono package,
the PCM can be used to set the off-delay time.
This setting also changes the lighting period
for unlocking the vehicle.
Please observe the chapter “Individual
Memory” in the separate PCM operating
instructions.
– The lights are turned on for approx.
30 seconds when the vehicle is unlocked.
The lights go out if the ignition is switched on
or when leaving the Welcome Home lighting.

The only problem with the other voices is they then don't know how to pronounce some abbreviations and names properly. Just listen to the German woman speaking some of the road names (rd str ave blvd, etc)... its very hard to understand them then.

For me, clarity is more important when I'm using the voice guidance.... I'm not familiar with the area and I need to understand the cross street I'm looking for the first time, not have to try and parse some mangled syntax.

Well at least it's not cockney english - English is English, German is not English so I would expect it would be difficult to understand.

Hey all,
I do not have the Chrono Package. Is there any way to adjust the home light delay with a Durametric, Foxwell, etc?
Recently bought a '10 997.2 and am still on the learning curve. What a fantastic car. Much different from my recently sold E92 335i Coupe.
