2" Gundo Too Loud?

Got my cans at the fabricators with 2" SS pipe for the hack. Now having 2nd thoughts on the volume. I've heard examples online but that isn't an exact science. Does anyone here who has the 2" pipe think it is too loud? Should I go smaller? I read where one guy said it was too loud for his wife and he had to have a mod to smaller pipes.
I live in a residential area with Super Troopers looking for action and don't want to draw unnecessary attention to the car.
Thanks

oh man I want to do this but can't make up my mind yet. I read all threads regarding this mod and heard clips in youtube, like you said it's hard to tell how loud it is. I read 2" is the same as PSE when rpms are above 4k, not loud below that. I'm having a track day in 2 weeks, hopefully someone has the mod so I can listen in person.

Only if you think the Porsche Sport Exhaust (PSE) is too loud. The 2" hack is comparable to the factory sport sound. Just do it, ferchissakes, you won't be disappointed. My only issue is that I didn't do the hack sooner and wasted my time trying to figure out how to swing a $1600 aftermarket exhaust system on a budget. The hack cost me $200 at a very good custom exhaust shop in Raleigh, NC. I couldn't be happier. BTW I did mine on top of a set of AWE crossover pipes. The combo is perfect for the sound I was looking for.

It is NOT too loud. I did this to my '06 in '07 and have nothing but positive things to say about it.

Well, that would (probably) be me. Sold the 2" ones to a fellow Rennlister. Got 1 1/2" pipes done, and they are perfect. Just a touch quiter but still with a beautiful sound when you step on it. No drone. The burble at start-up is flat out intoxicating. Very happy with the results.

Not too loud IMO, I did the hack with 2 1/4 pipe, (only size I found laying around) and sounds great. A nice deep rumble on higher rpms and quiet at cruising speeds. Go for it, you won't regret it.

2" all the way - much better sound at idle - deeper. Either way, the best and cheapest mod you can do. Makes driving so much more enjoyable
I have fisters stage 3's on my 993 and the 2" gundo on my 997
