First time changing front brakes - 997.2 (2009 C2S Cab)

So the discs were just fine. OEM brakes, sensors and one hour labor ended up being $530 tax in where the dealer and their forced job including rotors would have been ~ $1600.
All ends well. Thanks all.

Just for the record. I was able to have my original rotors "turned". It requires a special machine to accommodate the cross-drilled rotors. $20 each sure as heck beats buying new ones. The only caveat is that they must be at or above minimum thickness. It is worth a phone call or two to find a shop with the proper machinery. The results are like new.

Porsche recommends the use of "Optimoly Brake Cylinder Paste " when servicing the Brakes/Rotors. Any one know why or where this is supposed to be applied? I know to use regular "anti-seize paste" for various areas but never heard of "Optimoly Brake Cylinder Paste".
