Default Has anyone swapped SPASM springs with PASM springs?

I have Sports PASM and love the handling and LSD that this option provides - a must for track days. But for the street, where I live, it's harsh - esp. the much stiffer rear springs.

Has anyone swapped the SPASM springs for the PASM set? Does it require a software change for the PASM system? I would be interested in ability to do this with factory parts and costs. Thanks

what car do you have? I might make a trade if we have the same car.

I had both PASM and Sport PASM...Sport is a little stiffer and regular PASM but it's not night and day difference.

A good question and I'd like to know the answer too, but in the absence of a definitive response:

The difference isn't as big as you are imagining, but once the mind gets fixed on something, the perception is exaggerated. You can emulate a return to standard PASM by dropping tyre pressures by about 2 psi allround. Then reinflate for a spirited drive.

Or change to a softer tyre compound/sidewall all round. Michelins more compliant that Pirelli or Bridgestone.

From an earlier post, the difference in rear spring rate is significant:

a recent thread titled H&R springs, somebody posted spring rates for 997.2 PASM vs SPASM, in newton meters (multiply by 5.7 for pounds):
Front C2S
PASM 33
SPASM 36

Rear C2S
PASM 56
SPASM 65/95 (progressive)

From 56lb to 95 is almost twice as stiff, while the pre-prgressive rate of 65 vs. 56 is 16% stiffer. In street driving on uneven surfaces, this should be a noticeable difference. I have a 2009 997.2 - doesn't sound like anyone has done the switch.
