Default 997 Turbo wheels - what can I expect?

What price could I reasonably expect to get if I sold a set of 997 Turbo wheels in used-but-excellent condition?

I'm seeing them on ebay for anywhere between $2000 and $2500, but they don't actually seem to be selling. They all get zero bids. What do they really go for? I checked out the classifieds here, but can't seem to find any.

Full disclosure: The reason I'm asking is that a car I'm looking at has the Turbo wheels and, quite honestly, I don't like them. Call me crazy but I like the lobster forks. I figure I can sell the turbo wheels and buy a set of lobsters and end up with about $1000 in my pocket...

I have a refinished set of lobsters I bought from a fellow RLer. I would be interested in trading them as I really have grown to like the turbo wheel.

I am in Honolulu, which complicates, but if interested in a fast deal im sure we can work something out.

Thanks for the offer IslandS, but I don't even have the car yet! I'm just looking to see how much the wheel swap might defray the cost of the car I'm looking at. It's about $1500-$2000 over my budget limit. I'm hoping to be able to make up that difference in the wheel trade.

Really? That's it? Wheel enhancement is selling lobster dorks for $1500. Surely these are worth more than those...

Ask Wheel Enhancement what they'd give you in a trade - probably an even swap...forget about trying to make up your budget delta with a wheel swap.

far too many turbo wheels available these days. Trade if you would like but you will not get a lot out right for them unless they are brand new.

The irony here is the turbo wheels are the only forged wheels in the lot. Thus, substantially stronger than any of the other 997 wheels. The lobsters are light, but fairly common.
