Default Engine Oil Roundup... interesting

I found this link searching for Mobil-1 5W50, not sure if it was posted before.

Interesting test, not sure how un-biased they are, but as they're reseller for Amsoil and rated some oils better, I think it's legit review. The most interesting part is that Mobil-1 0W40, gets HIGHER HP than the rest, due to it's lower viscosity, hence lower friction. I can't understand how long they tested these engines for wear, so not sure if I rely much on their micron particle testing, but the viscosity drop of some of the oils were quite interesting!

I am very inclined to use Mobil-1 5W50 when summer and tracking season starts. It looks like a great compromise oil, it has the highest HTHS rating of any Porsche approved oil, and must be better for track usage and summer. I think I'd go 5-50 for summer/track, and then switch to 0-40 for winter/street.
