They do, or you can make your own. I elected to simply keep mine on a hoist and can put the thing on the car in about 8 minutes--or remove it in 8 minutes.

Dan,
Which Bridgestones did you select? Looks like a good "all-rounder". Will you keep those on all year, or change to a higher performance tire for summer? I've got about 2000 miles of life left in my stock Pilot Sports and am considering a good "all season" tire as I drive the car year round. My other option is going the dedicated winter tire route (with 18" wheels) and swapping them twice a year.
Oh, and please don't remind me that every day is summer in SB!
Thanks - Stuart

The Bridgestones are the N1 version of the RE050As. Temps never really get that low along the coast so you can get away with a full summer performance tire most of the year. They were original equipment on my car in 06 and I have enjoyed their performance ever since.
For me to try another manufacturer and model would require a dedicated transition to either Pirelli or Michelin and the purchase of at least 6 tires. (2 fronts and 4 rears). I prefer the low risk approach--go with what I know.

For our ice-belt buddies who have to put their cars away...
I took a trek up to Northern California and Route 1. North of San Francisco the drivers are much more courteous. They will always use the provided turnouts to let faster traffic by.
Contrary to some popular opinions, the water-based paints will not wash off in heavy rains!
Deer were at the Sea Ranch south of Point Arena. Exclusive housing that looks plain from the outside, but are lavish inside.
It was a good workout for the hardtop in serious winds and rain. No intrusion. I kept the tail up a lot intentionally to aid in the downforce on the wet roads.
A favorite fuel stop--Bodega Bay. In the background is the site of the Hitchcock film "The Birds" shooting location in 1963. The original "Tides" restaurant burned down in 1968, and this new one sits on the old site.
The golden hills of California. The real origin of the state slogan, "the Golden State."

Such great pictures Dan! Makes me think I need to get out on Hwy 1...

If you're anywhere near the west coast a trek up or down Route 1 is a sort of 'rite of passage.' I personally recommend the section north of San Francisco, but each have their own special features.
Perhaps we can do a group drive sometime.
