I am a fairly small guys as well. 5'10 and 135 lbs. But I have a bum knee from too much tennis and BJJ. Maybe its time to install one of those pilate thingy off the garage ceiling to pull myself out of the car. Work on my upper body strength at the same time!

I know that you may consider this sacreligious, but don't you think that the path of least resistance may be to find a car that's easier to exit?

Ingress/egress is not an issue with me (5'4").

But the occasional scrape on the rib cage/boob from the pointed corner of the window as you close the door can be painful!

Hey, I'm always in a hurry to enter the car and always reluctant to exit.
Worse case scenario...just stay in the car!

I just bought my 09 c4s about a month ago. The left side of the driver's sports bucket seat is worn from all the entering and exiting by me and the previous owner. Just a thought, is it possible to swap the left and right seat? My passenger side seat is in pristine condition...

You can order new leather and have it replaced.

Are you a professional cyclist? My 16 year old son is bigger than you.

Nope. Not a cyclist. But I workout pretty much everyday. That and a porsche, sure sign of a midlife crisis! 8-)

Btw... when I get my buckets, I probably would have the same problem. Do you take your harness off for regular driving? Is it easy to put back in?

Note to self:

Buy the car you love while you are still young enough to enjoy it.

Be sure you can still get out of the car.

I took a great friend to lunch recently. At 75, he said "I don't think I can get out of this car but one more time."
